Not interested in the negative (we get enough of that on a regular basis). If that's all you got, just scroll on by or start your own thread on that.

Busier than ever
Saved more money than ever (increased income & less spending)
Appreciate like thinking friends more, we see each other more
Appreciate my daughter more, because she let us love her babies without restrictions
I've been very generous to those in the service industry, having empathy for their blight
Appreciate good and honest people more, after observing how badly some behave

And really appreciate all the blessings that have been bestowed upon me

PS: On a sidebar, my son's family is coming over tomorrow for the first time since the pandemic started. Last weekend they went to see might daughter's babies and her new house for the first time, so I'm excited about these developments. Funny, stuff I used to take for granted

I have like 7 floats in the pool, 5 of them for two kids, calling it Poppy's Pool Party

my clock is stuck on 420 time to hit this bong

It further revealed who is soft and who is strong during a time of uncertainty.

I'm making more money thanks to my ability to double up on billable hours.

But I still wish we didn't have our freedoms taken away.

Been working non stop so it’s helping the cash flow.

wife working a lot as well but boss rolled over her unused vacation days so we’ll have more time off next year.

Saving a crap load of $$ by no vacation or going out to eat but spending it instead of Major home improvements and such.

wife cooking a lot more and making me fat (a good thing)

weekends consist of hanging in the backyard in the pool and having fun. Neighbors stopping by for drinks outside

we live on a canal and tried fishing a few weeks ago. My older son LOVES it and caught his first fish last weekend. A Pleco fish and he’s still talking about it!!

Being more active. Bought a skateboard. 13 years and 40 pounds later been picking it back up pretty quickly. Hand rails and stairs are a thing of the past but it's been lots of fun skating flat ground and curbs.

Dabbling more with the stock market. Filling the gambling void.

Sold a condo to a renter who had been there about twelve years. No Olympics is a blessing. No traffic in Vegas.

Nice to read so many of these comments and see so many people prospering despite what the media seems to want to portray.

As for me...

-Making more money as clients have doubled my normal session rate

-Very little traffic

-Tenants for both our Bay Area house and the one we own here have been timely on rent payments. Our tenant here renewed the lease which was fantastic news as the clock will keep ticking on the 1031 exchange and we will finally be moving into our house in a year

-Going out to eat 1-2 times a week

-Exercising frequently and so nice to have our fitness center back (new management team...nanny state manager has been removed)

-I've done some more exploring of different areas as I didn't get around as much as I would have liked in my first two years here

-Both kids and the grandkids doing well

-Going on another trip in a week to New Orleans (two more trips planned for September)

-The new face shield has made shopping so much more pleasurable (I can breathe effortlessly)

My wife has been all over me to get that puppy she wants, but our deal was not until we get into the house (I don't like the idea of raising a pup in an apartment). But I am seeing tons of people getting dogs as it's a great time to raise them with so many working from home.
